AN INTERUNIVERSITY ORGANIC CHEMISTRY COMPETITION AS AN ELEMENT OF EXTRACURRICULAR EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES

A competence approach becomes a main area of higher professional education in Russia; in this connection the introduction of educational technologies that are appropriate to this approach, including those into extracurricular study work, assumes particular relevance. The innovation format of an organic chemistry competition is based on computed technologies as an element of extracurricular educational activities to form the competent level of a specialist. The authors used ChemBioDrawUltra 11.0, ChemBio3DUltra 11.0, and MarvinBeans programs to elaborate the electronic format of a chemical modeling competition and a package of Microsoft office programs for editing and presentation. The proposed concept of the on-line format of a chemical competition was introduced into practice at the interuniversity level. The competition format was optimized by monitoring of the positive and negative aspects of actions, which were found during questionnaire interview studies at the Google Form platform.
