Introduction. Environmental factors significantly influence the periods and conditions of storage of antler-based preparations. The complex chemical composition of their feedstock makes it difficult to determine stability. The latter of active pharmaceutical substances is determined by various methods, including accelerated tests and stress ones. Objective: to study the influence of environmental factors on the stability of physicochemical parameters of dried maral blood under stresses. Material and methods. The investigation object was dried maral blood. Its stability was evaluated whether changes in the main quality indicators were present or absent after exposure to factors, such as natural sunlight, artificial light, UV radiation, and higher air humidity and temperature levels. Amino acids were determined by high-performance liquid chromatography. Results. Natural daylight and artificial light, UV radiation, and elevated temperatures do not affect the index «A description of dried maral blood». Raw material conditioning at 100% relative humidity leads to clumping. The examined physical factors do not influence the qualitative composition of amino acids. UV radiation does not affect their quantitative content. Exposure to both natural sunlight and artificial light can slightly decrease the levels of leucine and alanine. Lysine is found to have the greatest stability against all the examined factors. Exposure to elevated temperature causes a significant reduction in the content of all amino acids in the dried maral blood. Conclusion. The data obtained from the study of the stability of physicochemical parameters and the content of some amino acids in dried maral blood should be taken into account during the technological process for preparing the substance and its storage.
