Rupturewort (Herniaria glabra) is rich in biologically active substances; at the same time it has a very low accumulation rate of nitrates, heavy metals, and radionuclides. The composition of antioxidant syrup based on dry rupturewort extract was developed and technology for its manufacture was proposed. Standard sugar syrup served as the main solvent; the rupturewort extract as a powder was added to the syrup at concentrations in terms of the results of previously performed pharmacological investigations. The thickener xanthan gum and fructose were put into the syrup to increase its colloidal stability and to mask the taste. The indicators for the quality of a proposed dosage form were developed.
